What We Actually Mean When We Say Local. Loyal.
Every small business says they are local. Every builder says they care about their community. We know that. And we know that two words on a sign do not mean anything unless there is something real behind them.
So here is what Local. Loyal. actually means at Agile Homes. Not the tagline version. The real version.
Local means your money stays here.
When you build with Agile Homes your money does not disappear into a corporate headquarters somewhere else. It stays in the Treasure Valley.
We employ over one hundred full time workers through our local trade partners adding over twenty million dollars to our hometown economies.
These are not vendors we found online. These are neighbors. People who live and work in the same communities we build in. Most of them have been working alongside us for years. That kind of relationship does not happen by accident and it does not happen overnight. It is built the same way a good home is built. One job at a time done right.

Local means the people building your home are from here.
Mike and Craig Smith grew up in New Plymouth Idaho. They did not move here to build homes. They have always been here.
And so have most of the people they hired.
New Plymouth. Fruitland. Parma. Homedale. Weiser. Nyssa. Emmett. Our team is from here. From the people who sell you your home to the people who build it to the people who answer the phone when you call. This is a team that grew up here, went to school here, raised families here, and genuinely cares what happens to these communities because they live in them.

Recently, we received a letter from a homeowner that stopped us in our tracks. Her home had been built years earlier. She had run into an issue and reached out not knowing if we could help.
She was not a current customer. The transaction had been done for years.
We took care of it.
Her letter ended with this:
“People and companies like Agile are unheard of these days and I just want you to know how much you all are appreciated and thought of. Keep up the good work. You guys are amazing.”
We are not sharing this to make promises about what we will always do in every situation. We are sharing it because it captures something real about how we try to operate. We take the long view. We care about our reputation more than we care about the short term cost of doing the right thing.
